Ray,
You can still get out to the field and operate. I did it all summer on the Moose and Squirrel Net and will continue once it warms up - and the parks say open.
I primarily operate from Sandy Hook. I can always find an isolated sport away from people and noise even during the summer.
What is missing is the comradery with others and the haggling over our boatanchors.
Our elders survived during the 1918-1920 pandemic and did not have the entertainment options we have. My oldest uncle experimented with radio but the equipment was removed to him during the First World War.
