If you do run that level of RTTY at Gilbert, then I should be allowed to bring
the 47 with a homebrew battery box. I figure on about 5 seconds of run time at
full power.

Have pictures of a lot of the Gilbert stuff on my web page at:

http://staff.salisbury.edu/~rafantini/

Also have more stuff about the Dayton Hamvention.

The big question would be running RTTY at Gilbert. I have run RTTY using the
micro RAT, GRC-106 in the MUTT but did it by cheating and using PC for modem
and terminal. There is a RAT set up for the M151 called the VSC-2 or 3 or
something like that and have all the stuff for it but it requires you to
surrender the passenger seat and the bench seat in the back of the mutt. And
once you do all that you also cant fit things like the VRC-12 or anything else
in the mutt. But maybe I can con you into dragging out your UGC-74 and MD and
we can set that up outside the mutt and run the full Vietnam RAT patrol? That
or what ever the huge page printer was that they used with the first
generation VSC set up.
Running one hundred pounds of vintage teletype in the field would be a new
level huge, heavy and pointlessness.

A web page I put together a couple years back on the 2019 event:

http://staff.salisbury.edu/~rafantini/MRCA19.htm

I plan on getting to the site Thursday and will be bringing the self-propelled
GRC-106 aka M-151A1 “MUTT” that comes equipped with VRC-12 and a URC-110
for VHF FM or AM and as always will have several back pack radios for sixty
and six meters.
Will be posting more the closer we get.
