I picked up some surplus BNC coax assemblies from the Gilbert meet years ago. Does anyone know which piece(s) of equipment they were used with?

The coax is RG-58 with a straight male coax plug at one end and a right angle coax plug at the other end.

The first CABLE ASSEMBLY, RF is 8 feet long with the following identification:

MFR 59928
5995-00-823-2990
CG-1773B/U (8F0IN)
DLA400-88-F-1093

The second one is 22 feet long:

MFR 54736
5995-01-054-7178
CG-1773B/U (22F0IN)
SP0451-94-F-0622

The 8 foot cable came in a plastic bag with what I presume is a preservative that smells like kerosene. Any idea what the preservative was?

Thanks,

Mike N2MS
