You got that right. JDAMS weren't around when I was in (1967-87) but PAVETAC certainly was!!! Just ask Quadifi!!! Operation Eldorado Canyon was not a rousing success but it certainly proved the guided munitions had a future in the air war. Gotta love the F-111F (learned to fly one at RAF Lakenheath in the early 80s thanks to a good friend on 494TFS Stan Eval....had to show time on the 111F sim....had more than a few hours logged on a $40 million video game!!)

I missed it to. Happy birthday to the USAF. I was an f-16 crew chief, good times. ( solved a lot of problems with a 2000lb jdam).
