[MRCA] [MMRCG] MRCA 40m RATT NET on Saturday AM

I want to know about the paper tape operation at K4NYW? Saw you respond with rapid response and comment about running paper tape at Navy East and would love to know how all that worked out? I would assume that there was at least a separate paper tape system apart from the model 28 and perhaps a loop switching network.

Got pictures?

I have been whimping out running Harris RF-350 with computer using MITTY but am envious of the mighty few who run the mechanical teleprinters.

The military field day exercise will be coming up in a couple three weeks and I am working on putting something together to use with the GRC-106 in the mutt. Think I have worked out deal to operate from the Fort Miles Museum at Cape Henlopen Delaware and intend to be operating the two nets from the mutt along with the contest and think if I can also do the teletype net from the field that would be something, just have to work out what I will be using with the 106 I can take a modern laptop and build up another interface to run MITTY with the 106 via the laptops sound card or maybe go Old School and use a old Grid laptop with a Kamtronics Multimode being I have a couple laying around the shop. Do not know what I will do yet but at least have a couple weeks to put something together before the event. Have a spare 106 set up in the shop so can do some building and trial before attempting to use in the field.
