The junction box on the MT-299/GR is the same box as on the MT-327/GR. I think that the only difference will be that you will have to remove the Aux Receiver cable and plug the hole in the packing gland. The junction box on the MT-297 and MT-298 is too large and will neither fit nor work. I think that the one on the MT-300 is the same as well but the cabling is mostly different and less of it. And the internal wiring will be mostly or all different as the 9-pin cable/connecter goes to an AM-65.

I'm sure you know the the junction box that is missing on what remains of your MT-299/GR was always supplied as an integral part of the MT-299. Some twidget has removed it and I would not hold much hope you will ever find the junction box by itself. It will be quicker and probally cheaper to locate a complete unhacked MT-299/GR.

Over the past 35 years I have collected all the components for every variant of the AN/GRC-3 series except for the MT-298/GR and second receiver-transmitter used with the AN/VRQ-1, 2, 3. I started with the AN/VRC-10 but worked up to the 250 lb AN/GRC-7 with its RT-68, RT-70, R-110, AM-65, PP-112, 2xPP-282, MT-297, C-435, C-375, etc. It's a very technically elegant set for the late 1940s.

Anybody know where I can get the attachment for the MT-299 radio mount for the AN/VRC-10 radio system? I know there is an MT-299 on ebay right now, but the attachment for the power input cables, and the cables themselves are missing from that mount. Thanks.
