Subject: [MRCA] 10th anniversary M&S Net Video

I set up a flip camera and recorder some highlights of the 10th anniversary
Moose & Squirrel Clandestine Cold War Radio Net last Saturday the 14th of
November, items of note were that our fearless leader Al N3FRQ was pressed
into service with his PRC-47 as net control, I drove the mutt out into a
very wet back yard and set up running the GRC-106 along with the video
camera and altogether there were nine stations on the net that were all
running the AN/PRC-47 transceiver. Perhaps a record for the most forty
sevens on the air at one time in one net? Think the total for the net was
just under thirty stations with other notable radios including Sunair,
KWM-2A and some commercial stuff.

Sorry for the wind noise but it was a bit windy that day.

For those who don't know the Moose & Squirrel Net is held every Tuesday,
Thursday and Saturday at noon EST on 5357 USB and presents a great
opportunity to drag out the Cold War or Vietnam era radios and put them back
on the air.
