It isn’t so much bloated prices as it is that the stuff we’re interested in has become more rare, especially in usable, restorable or unmolested condition. The more modern stuff may have the bloated prices.
I’m pricing the two complete, working WW2 era radios I have right now ( a BC-659-J and a BC-654-A ) at $2500 and $3500 respectively, and I’m maybe making $100 per radio. That’s just the costs for this stuff now.
