[MRCA] [MMRCG] 2020 Gilbert Red Ball Rally Canceled

This sucks mightily, first the cancellation of the Aberdeen MVPA, Fairborn MVPA Nationals and Dayton Hamvention and now the loss of Gilbert “Red Ball” until next year.

The Sussex MVPA show that usually occurs in April was rescheduled for October 17 / 18th. I was to a Hamfest once at the venue but never the MVPA show, will have to see if that stays on the schedule or not. May be one of the only opportunities this year?

I have been looking at something called “Tankfarm” August 29/ 30th outside of Washington in Manassas (Nokesville)  but the way things are going cannot say what will happen with that. But beyond that looks like this will be a year for the books in terms of inactivity.

Hello All,
This was just posted a short time ago.  The Red Ball Military Transport just announced that the September 2020 Show has been canceled. This is not their doing but the West End Fairgrounds people informed them that they could have the show but only in the parking area outside the fence without any access to facilities that are normally available such as the showers, electricity, etc.

The fairgrounds are closed for the rest of 2020.  Red Ball will not have a show under these circumstances.
