[MRCA] GRC-106 test fixture

Thought would send a picture of the latest project, been taking a real beating on the 1A3 reference oscillators in the GRC-106. After spending way too much time trying to work on them with a maze of clip leads and stuff connected to them decided to build a reference oscillator test jig. By gutting the connector from a dead 662 chassis and using a old Bud Box that was part of some strange test harness built a box that the reference oscillator plugs into that allows full access to the entire assembly for troubleshooting and alignment. Now all I have to do is try to figure out why the dam things have a hard time starting, sounds crazy but now that I have full access going to go back to the book and try a full alignment and see if that makes any difference.

The manual refers to some form of test assembly RF Simulator SM-442/GRC that allows you to operate the reference oscillator and the rest of the synthesizer assembles external of the radio but imagine the chance of finding that’s right up there with finding Hens teeth. Has anyone ever seen one of these test assemblies?
