I was running the Navy AN/FRT-70, synthesized TMC xmtr,
USB, AFSK 2kc center tone, +/-425 shift - standard HF setting from a Navy
CV-3510B/UG TU.
Mark RF freq low - opposite of ham LSMFT standard.
K3TZJ was running Army gear with MD-522 proving that Gray and Green
equipment can indeed talk to each other :-)
For 8/29 we will try 7087 USB with 2kc tone - meaning that the RF freq is
7089 center with +/- 425 shift
Cheers,
Nick England K4NYW
