[MRCA] [a little OT] Link Pilot Flight Trainer

This brings back memories. As a youth, I was gifted a C-3, and over the
years I restored it to absolutely pristine condition. After college, I
loaned it to the South Dakota national Guard museum, and later moved it (Via
KC-135) to the Arizona National Guard Museum, where it was displaced by
construction. It went into storage for about ten years, and through my Air
Force research Labs connection to L-3, found that they were keen on having
as a display at their headquarters, so that's where it is now. Over the
years I also had a C-8 (postwar) and amassed thousands of parts, all which
have gone to restoration projects, including WPAFB. Thanks for reminding me
of the pneumatic nightmare that is a Link Trainer! (The grey item on the
floor by the desk is the regenerative vacuum blower that runs the trainer
mechanics, all of which look like they came from a pipe organ, which they
kind of did, but that's another story!

I am pretty sure I saw one of these at the Write Patterson AFB museum. Very
cool including the mapping desk!
