What do we want to do in terms of operations over at Beltsville Lake? Think maybe we can do longer range field operations and backpacks on one day and shorter range handheld and back pack at Gilbert the other day?
Last couple years Friday has been the day for extended field operations like setting up over at Beltsville and Saturday was intended for handheld and presentations over at the Howell building.
I would like to do a repeat of last year's Friday opps with the mutt serving as a base supporting any number of man pack or vehicle stations in and around the aria.
That would include USB 5357, FM 51.0, 14425 AM? Or any other HF USB/AM that we would want to use.
Also look forward to doing 3885 AM with the MAK and other close in sets at Gilbert on Saturday.
If anyone is interested can drag out a bunch of the STAF FILM REPORTS stuff.

Subject: [MRCA] MRCA Meet Activity Poll
The 2019 MRCA Meet is two weeks away. Please send to kw1i at earthlink.net<mailto:kw1i at earthlink.net> whether you plan to attend this year. I have already heard from some, but would like to get as many responses as possible in order to get badges produced.
Some minor schedule modifications are being considered. Exact timing has not firmed up, but we are planning for the Friday night cookout at the Howell Bldg to be a little earlier so that it can be wrapped up to give us 1-1.5 hours to allow a radio activity period after dinner. The next morning in a similar fashion we are going to have breakfast at the Howell Bldg a little earlier to provide time for a morning radio activity before the fleamarket becomes a major distraction.
Here are some equipment focused candidate activities that can be included in the Friday afternoon comm ops or one of the proposed periods either Friday evening or Saturday morning. Please reply with your interest in participating in specific activities and include any questions, suggestions and comments.
