[MRCA] AS-3900 vs AS-3916?

Thanks, Walt. At this web site

http://radionerds.com/index.php/AS-3900

It does indicate it is a center-fed system, but maybe my use of the term dipole is still incorrect?

Looking for others who may have thought about cutting down an as-3916 for better performance.

Eugene

I've never done a comparison but both the 3916 and the 3900 are verticals the mx2799 is the vertical dipole.

?Anyone ever do a performance comparison of these two antennas? I am only interested in 51.0 MHz and it would seem the 3916 might be easier to modify (cut down) just for that frequency. The 3900 looks impossible to cut down without destroying it.

The 3916 looks like an end-fed and I believe the 3900 is a vertical dipole.

Any suggestions?
