[MRCA] AS-3900 vs AS-3916?

?Anyone ever do a performance comparison of these two antennas? I am only interested in 51.0 MHz and it would seem the 3916 might be easier to modify (cut down) just for that frequency. The 3900 looks impossible to cut down without destroying it.


The 3916 looks like an end-fed and I believe the 3900 is a vertical dipole.


Any suggestions?
