[MRCA] BA-414/u Battery

Want to build a replacement for this ( for a local control box)...The specs state 45 v and 22.5v    How much wiggle room would I have for the 22.5 v?...Would 27v kill it....or do I need to include a voltage regulator donw to 22.5
