[MRCA] [MMRCG] Dayton 2019 Cold War Radio net log

Perhaps for next year we can go back to the practice of taking stations by call zone. I attempted to check in at least three different times before finally packing it in assuming that my PRC-68 was not doing it. Also we may want to consider setting a start time and letting everyone know in advance as opposed to doing what is field expedient.

The Cold War net on 51.0 at fourteen hundred  and then fourteen thirty  has been a regular fixture of the Dayton Hamvention for well over ten years now, I am still wondering just what went on this year?

The good thing is that in many years of operating that net along with the WW2 3885 AM net this was the largest group that we ever had on 51.0

Thanks for taking up the reins on the Cold War net. You pulled it together when it really looked like it was falling apart this year. Kudos to you and any helpers and to all who participated. I have one small correction, I checked in with a PRC-25 not a PRC-152. I was walking around the hamfest with a PRT-4A and PRR-9 but went back to my car to fire up the PRC-25 because I thought it may be the only one checking in, and I guess I was right. I have some pictures of the group after the net and will pass the good ones on to Joe WA4VAG this evening.
All in all, a great net... thanks to everyone and see you next year!
