The nightly 40 meter net has always been at 02:00z(currently 22:00
eastern). Nothing has changed.

The Wednesday night Rolling 75 meter net has been posted with an East Coast
start time of 03:00z. It was thought when the net was first organized that
the 03:00z time would not be affected by the time change as it was assumed
that 75 meter propagation would have subsided by then. Not so.

If it is intended to pass along the net ending on the West Coast at
20:00Pacific, then the 03:00z East Coast start time must be adjusted to
22:00Eastern.

75 meter Rolling net scheduled should be adjusted as follows:
East Coast start time 22:00 local.
Midwest hand off, 21:30 local.
West Coast, 20:00 local.

With the really crummy propagation we have been experiencing the following
nightly net procedure has been in effect:
02:00z, 7296usb call for checkins.
02:05z, if 7296 is not viable we shift to 3996usb.
02:10z, if 3996 is a no-go, or when propagation drops out, we shift to
1996usb.
Check all three frequencies before you give up for the night.

40 meter propagation has been very long, or often not at all. 75 meters has
also been a bit long with most paths over 500 miles, but it has still been
quite useful. 160 meters has been good, shame on us for having not utilized
it more this season.
