Since my last post about my PRC-1 radio I have gotten many replies and 
requests for information, I will try my best to describe it and it contents. 
 The suitcase itself measures approx. 18" x 14" x 7 1/2",  and has 2 locks 
which are open, I have no key.  When opened it does have a bit of a musty 
smell, but appears to be in really good shape.  In the upper right corner 
there is a pouch/compartment which is full of tubes, in the upper left 
corner in another pouch/compartment there is a spool of wire that looks like 
string, a headset(one of the rubber ear pieces is a little deformed), and 
the is a lightbulb with 2 wires, not sure if that even belongs.  Also there 
a many little components that look fuses that would plug into something.  
And also wrapped to the radio itself is a pretty long cord, the plug itself 
may need replaced or repaired.  I have not attempted to plug the radio in, 
as I have been advised it could ruin capacitors.  I'm not sure how to get 
pictures from my phone to my computer, but will gladly send pictures to 
anyone who provides me with a phone number via text message.  Tomorrow I 
will take pictures and send them to whoever provides me a cell phone
