[MRCA] UGC-74 saga continues!

With cables I have made in the past, I don't worry so much about this issue. I do the wiring and most likely the individual, insulated conductors will emerge beyond the end of the back shell.
So what I do is put some heat shrink tubing on the overall cable (maybe 2+ inches worth) and slide it way down past the back shell before I begin wiring. Once I am done, I slide the heat shrink up so it will cover all of the exposed individual insulated wires and allow the back shell to clamp down onto the heat shrink to protect the individual wires.
It may not be as neat as a good back shell, but it allows me to be really generous with the amount of outside insulator I can remove. It is always nice to have more length of wires to work with when you have them all in tight proximity.
Here is an example:

Ok so now we all know that the proper Data connector to use with the UGC-74 TTY is a size 16, 26 pin Mill Spec # MIL-DTL-26482 connector. I also know that a Glenair M85049/49-2 size 16 strain relief fits the back of that connector. But this is the big question. If I want a one or two inch back shell extender what would that be?
Like using the back shell extenders so you can have the communications cable clamped with still having space for doing the wiring, also makes the cable easy to deal with in terms of connecting and disconnecting.
Turns out I did have the connector, and the strain relief just want the back shell for making this perfect.
