Ray,You may be closer to a reality than we care to admit. Used equipment interest does not create advertizing sales revenue. My logbook, when I take the time to enter data, shows most time is ops on vintage military gear. Since I retired from CAP and left the SHARES program, SSB ops are little. For some now unfathomable reason, I bought a new, double-discounted Yaesu FTDX-3000 from HRO with an eye on digital modes. Heretofore, my two FT-1000Ds, still here, were the primary SSB units. Since last December, I have made two contacts on the new Yaesu. This is not to complain, rather to state fact. The OMRN net on Saturdays does not appear to have any genuine young folks with us. Too bad, I think. What's going to happen to all our stuff? When displaying vintage/military at fests around here, you get good conversation from the knowing but few transactions. Last Dayton sortie was 1988. Bring back Gaithersburg!!!!Jeep K3HVGSent from my Verizon 4G LTE smartphone
