The rally had a big vehicle turn out this year, foot traffic was way down for some reason, several vendor spots were vacant.
Radio gear for sale was scarce, the usual vendor with several PRC-77/RT-524 was there, saw one lone PRC-77 for sale, a BC-1306 with one grill still in tact(no price)and one WWII set that I did not notice the model(no price), a couple of sets of VRC antenna's(no price) and one RT-350 radio kit for $90, a MRCA member walked away with that one.
MRCA crew on hand Dale KW1I, Mark K1HF, Jeff W1AEA, Ken KD2GFM, Doug N1WDS and Pete WB2JWU. Radio activity this year was limited to the M&S net check in on Saturday.
Dale and I had our M886 ambulances and Ken had his M1009 loaded with comm gear. Ken's rig was certainly the star of the show, he had an amazing rack custom built that used just about every available inch of space, very well done. I have leave scheduled for the Gilbert show and my plans are to meet up with Dale and convoy to Gilbert.
