Wish I knew about this sooner. I have a BC-654-A I’ve been itching to try out. And as far as reenactors go, I bet the guys who do German would go spastic if they could do an Atlantic Wall event there. Bet they’d wet themselves when they saw the 12 inch guns.

>> Tomorrow the 27th will be the annual “Delaware Goes to War” event at Fort Miles, Cape Henlopen Delaware. They have a section of one time Ft. Miles open to the public that includes the restored FDC center and 12 inch guns all located in Batter 519 along with several barracks, the observation tower and the other weapons located on site like there 16 inch gun. This Saturday there will be a group of reenactors giving demonstrations and tours and the like along with a military vehicle show. The event mainly features a WW2 theme but in the last couple years they have also included new displays from Korea and Vietnam on the periphery of the event. The last two years I have brought out my M151A1 and operated just outside the main gate to Fort Miles. I have regularly done the MRCA net on 5.357 at noon local time and this year I will also try the MMRCG net on 7.296 at ten in the morning. Will also monitor 51.0 FM.
>> Think K4CHE will be on site just outside barrack 601 and will be running WW2 period equipment on 80 meters all day.
>> I will be monitoring the net frequencies before the nets if anyone want to try to make a connection and am looking forward to the show.
