[MRCA] BC-342 at Gilbert

Good morning all,

First of all, I just want to express thanks to all
the organizers of the event last week, both my wife
and I thoroughly enjoyed the event.

Someone left a forlorn BC-342 by the door, with a
FREE tag on it. I took it. My thought was to rob the
crystal filter out of it for another project.

But I started looking at it closely, and actually powered
it up. Needed some troubleshooting, but it came to life.
Still needs work, leaky capacitors and the like, but it
is now a project.

Just wanted to say thank you to whoever that person was.

Now starts the search for all the little bits and pieces
to make it whole again.
