… Or the ribbon recognition can include separate bars for years 1-4, then a 5-year bar worn by itself, then additional years 6-9 suspended beneath, then a 10 –year bar by itself.  The 5-year multiple bars (5, 10, etc.) would always be at the top of the stack, with the next 4 years hanging beneath.  In that way the entire stack would be at most 5 bars tall.

 

     A real PITA to administer but avoids the long string of bars that Al warns about.  

 

     Question:  Would attendance have to be consecutive years or would each attendance count for a bar?

Attention MRCA Meet Attendees:

 

Recently I was going through the suggestions in the Cost Improvement Idea box in the second floor lobby of the new wing of the MRCA building.  And sure enough, like clockwork, what has become an annual tradition for one our employees, to recommend that returnees to our meeting next week bring with them the badge clip(s) from their previous attendance.

 

It was so encouraging to again receive this thoughtful recommendation, I thought I would share it with the whole MRCA reflector.
