[MRCA] Nice find today

Today, at the Howard County (MD) hamfest, I happened on what appeared to 
be a rather exceptional physical condition BC-348R.  I got it, and a 
similar condition LS-3, for $100. Testing it at home, with some minor 
adjustments, it has a nominal MDS of 1uv on 80 and 40.  That said, it 
was re-capped with Black Beauty capacitors, so work is arguably 
indicated.  The muting circuity has been bypassed somewhere as pins 2 
and 6 do nothing, now, although the original wiring appears present.  
There is no short???  Curious.  But for a hundred bucks, no worries.

BTW, pardon my ignorance but the mfgr listed on the /plastic tag/ is 
CDL.  Is that Cardwell, or what??
