[MRCA] MMRCG inaugural 40 meter net

The Midwest Military Radio Collectors Group conducted it's first weekly 
net at 0900 CDT on 7296 USB this morning.  Eleven stations participated, 
including two mobiles and one station using 20 watts into a short wire 
antenna.   We are encouraged that propagation seems favorable at this 
time of day and encourage others to join us in the future.   The use of 
military radios, and low-power, portable, mobile, and /PM operation is 
encouraged - today's experience is a good example of what can be done. 
     Check-ins may be in USB or AM mode, to encourage the use of 
military equipment that does not have SSB capability.    The following
