The annual Armed Forces Day Cross band Test is this Saturday May 12.

The  military operators  should announce what portion of the amateur
band they are monitoring (PDF file below)  but if they  don't
announce "properly" than an additional receiver is required to
monitor the the military station and you use your transceiver to
monitor the  pile up on the amateur  band and to assist  find a
frequency to "transmit" on to call the military station.  Much like
the typical DX pile up. Listen first and you will get the idea.  Its
a Communications Challenge if you are not used to the operating
    procedure.
