[MRCA] PRC-47 no transmit

I’ve been going through the troubleshooting steps and found a bad 2N333 transistor in the audio freq amplifier module. I tested the transistors and diodes in the #2 unit and they were all good. I plugged the #2s A8A1 unit in and now I hear a sidetone when transmitting. Still no output.

The next step was to check to make sure the 500KHz carrier signal was getting to A2J2. No joy. The recommendation was to check out the K4 relay. The relay looks good, but the required 28VDC is not showing up to energize the K4 coil. I wonder could this thing be set up for VOX?

I have to think about this for a while.
