The prices are all going up on anything WW2, especially if it can be repaired and legally used by licensed operators in displays and mounted in vehicles. It is nice to finally see appreciation for the older , vacuum tube sets. It sure would be nice if an organization like the ARRL awarded some type of recognition not only for those who take the time to learn Morse Code, but also to those who repair, maintain, and operate the antique equipment. I could even suggest a name for the later the “Order of the Ancient Sparkler”.
