I found a google books manual for the BB-451 battery. The manual states that the BB-451 battery is a nominal 24VDC. I reset my power supply voltage to 24VDC (instead of 28VDC)& re checked my B+ voltages Lo was 870VDC and Hi was 1,550VDC. Much better results!

The next item on the list is to put a signal into the antenna connector. The signal should be 2226 KHz at 2.0 microvolts. I am having a little difficulty stabilizing my signal generator on 2226 KHz and cannot figure out how to measure the 2.0 microvolts. When I measure the voltage of the signal using my fluke 177 meter, no matter how I set the output of the signal generator the reading decays to 1.7 microvolts RMS. When I measure the signal on my Tektronix TDS-210 O-scope the lowest volts/division my scope will measure at is 2.0 millivolts per division. I cannot seem to keep the signal together on the O-scope any lower than 2 units or 4 millivolts peak to peak. I am attenuating the signal with a 10 turn 200K pot into a .01uf cap.

Any advice on how to set this up? Is this 2.0 uV supposed to be RMS or peak to peak?

& O yes I may have bitten off more than I can chew, but I am nothing if not persistant. LOL
