[MRCA] (not so) rare images (of TA-12 gear)

The Bendix TA-12 series is a very common unit, used with the somewhat less common RA-10 series receiver. Many were used in USN and RCAF service.

A complete set of one common communication and navigation installation for 28 vdc power consists of:

RA-10DB LF/MF/HF receiver with dynamotor, mount, loop relay unit MR-11D
(150-400, 400-1100, 2000-5000, 5000-10000 kHz)
TA-12B MF/HF transmitter with mount
(CH1 300-600, CH2 3000-4800, CH3 4000-6400, CH4 4370-7000 kHz)
MN-20E DF loop
MN-52B Control for MN-20E
MP-28BA Modulator and dynamotor for TA-12B, mount
MR-9B Control for RA-10DB
MS-14B System junction box
MS-18B Microphone jack box
MT-11B Morse key for TA-12B
MT-31C Transmitter tuning meter
MT-51C Control for TA-12B
MT-53B MF antenna coil for TA-12B

I'm sure the members of the milsurplus list appreciate your gratuitous insult and disparagement. Many of those "clowns on Milsurplus" (as you not so coyly style them) are members of this list as well.

PS: In the English language it assists intelligibility to use the period (.) to form sentences, which may then be used to form paragraphs. The use of pronouns is another welcome embellishment, along with correct employment of 'there' versus 'their' versus 'they're' and 'your' versus 'you're' and 'its' versus 'it's'. These techniques reflect positively on any author who does not wish to be seen as just another "clown on Milsurplus." :-)

Not a good idea to cross promote list and know those clowns on Milsurplus would have a fit about it but over on AM Phone they started a “Military Radio” section and not trying to direct traffic over there but one of the subjects is about the Bendix TA-12 and there are pictures including the modulator power supply and don’t think I have ever seen a modulator power supply for that set before so it’s worth a look.
