[MRCA] TRC-88 Schematic / Manual?

Hi Mike - I think you are correct, probably not many made. This one is
Serial # 2, I think it's the one Joe Pinner recently sold on EBay. It's an
interesting set....

The only references I have found on the TRC-88 was that one was evaluated
in Thailand in 1963 alongside the Hughes HC-162 (to later morph into the
PRC-74), A TRP-4, TRC-77 "modified for AM" and a GRC-9. The TRC-88 was
judged the best of the lot in jungle propagation experiments (Stanford
Research Institute for ARPA) but apparently the freq agility of the Hughes
set won the day.

They seem to be somewhat rare, any documentation seems to be deeply
buried... The TRC-77 manual is not useful as the transmitter sections are
completely different ..the 88 being significantly more complex as expected.

Thanks,,Tim
