[MRCA] Atlantic Highlands, NJ Radar Site

I've operated from a picnic table overlooking the ocean at Hartshorne Woods but the setup was minimal - a FT-817 into a vertical mounted on the table with a couple of radials. I didn't attach any wires to the trees or bunkers.

They are renovating Battery Lewis at the park and WWll Coastal Defense volunteers are supposed give tours this summer. I will try to find out particulars. This is another promising operating site but is a WWll historical site, not really a Cold War site. It was used for storage during the Highlands AFS era.

Do usually drag the mutt over a friend's house for Field Day in June but that’s just down the road and is more about eating and drinking then radio.
