I can see where the trailer would be way useful, I have only seen the trailers deployed with the FAC equipped mutts but can say from experience that I am liking the idea more and more for my set up.

M151 family uses the 2HN battery. 6TL is a big, square truck battery used in trucks and the odd CUCV. 6TLs wouldn't fit in the M151 battery compartment.

Aren't you thinking of the GRC-206 installations which had the trailer and generator? I don't think I've ever seen any pics of the M151 towing a trailer in specific support of a GRC106 installation - not to say it didn't
happen.

Cheers.

A lot of GRC106 equipped M151 had a small trailer with a 24vdc3 kw Gen set and extra gas and a long slave cable to the jeep they also carried Dipoles, lots of coax, mast kits, ground rods, tools Ect in the trailer

On My M151A2 Grc 106 install I am using Milspec 6TL I think Original equipment batteries and I have to run at above idle Anytime I transmit
