[MRCA] On patrol after action report

11 June thru 13 June ka3rmm, wa3wsj and i was on patrol on top of bald knob in West Virginia.  The location is accessible via steamtrain using shay locomotives.  The train dropped up off on the mountain on Sunday and during the next few days we stayed in a caboose built in 1949.  The elevation was 4730 at our location and made for some interesting who's.  As we were operating in the national radio quiet zone we were restricted to 5 watts and below 30 mhz.  The green bank telescope is approx 5 miles away and they were very accommodating giving us permission to operate so close.
I made 67 qso's using the elecraft kx3 and an inverted l and a homebrew dipole.  The farthest was Puerto Rico on 10 meters.  I was able to make contact on all  bands even 160.
Our trip was ended with a tour of the green bank radio telescope.  
I tried to check in on tuesday but i dont think i was heard band condx were lousey.
