[MRCA] M&S 01-14-2017

Unfortunately for me today most stations were down for me. All of the NH
stations were Q5.

Today or setup my little portable setup I've been working on. It's not a
green radio but somewhat green inspired. My goal was to have everything I
need in one backpack, quick and easy to deploy. Today I was inside, using
my homebrew L network turner. It's housed in an old MFJ case. My antenna is
a 120 foot end fed with a 10 foot counterpoise clipped to a chain link
fence. I can operate completely from the backpack if need be. The only
thing not pictured is the battery charger and power cord if commercial
power or car battery power is available.

I plan to add some home built roll up J-pole type antenna for VHF work.
