Chuck,
Yes the PRC-1 will operate on 110, 150, 200, 220, and 250 volts AC, at 50/60 cycles.

I remember several years ago operating your PRC-1 on Straight Key Night. A struggle to make 1 contact.....if I recall correctly, the receiver was drifting, and we had to ride the dial. I don't remember if we were on 80 or 40 meters.

Bob I also have a PRC-1 Restored but still Original case. I have read some notes about their use in China Burma India, But I Think the 110 VAC would make that a poor choice. I wonder about agent use in south America. My unit is packed away.. do you know if it would run on 220 vac ? I would love to have a Jpeg of your schematic CHARLES AGOSTI WD8AXA 269-349-1935 cell 217-4188 I restored one of these a while back and have some questions that maybe someone might shed some light on; Who manufactured them? About how many were made? I know the OSS rejected them but who ended up using them? Thanks in advance!
