That is why we are hearing so much JT-65 there from the Caribbean.

Maybe I was the last to know, but read below about channel 3 being allocated as an international band and the potential additional traffic that might occur there…

Hi Dennis,

 

In the "bad news - worse news" category.

The channel 5357.0 kHz USB is about to get even more crowded.

 

On 1 January 2017, that frequency will become the ONLY channel USA will have in common with the new 60 meter international band! (5351.5 kHz to 5366.5 kHz) 

 

You can expect DXers of all kinds to show up there on SSB, CW, RTTY, PSK, etc... trying to work their DXCC on it.
