I didn't know you were a Mineman, Robert.  That's one of the USN's more unusual ratings.

I was on the US-made auxiliary (later coastal) minesweeper AMS-105 in 1973, in the North Sea.  But, it had been in service since 1953 with the Royal Netherlands Navy as Hr.Ms. Beemster M845.

It carried old British MF radiotelegraph gear, a Netherlands Navy HZO HF USB set (modern, somewhat similar to the RT-618/URC), and the USN UHF-AM TDZ transmitter and AN/URR-13 receiver.
