[MRCA] Very cool

There was one of these transmitters bouncing around on the email reflectors in New Jersey a couple years back for $100, and I don't think anyone bought it being it's a huge amount of weight and size and VHF AM. If it was something like a TDE or TCK and was useable on HF it may be worth that much maybe but have to wonder what things like T-368 or BC-610 are going for these days. The problem with big transmitters is they are fun to own and play with but beyond a point can be an issue when you have to get rid of them. I had a RCA BTA broadcast transmitter that I set up on 160 and it was fun and all that but decided to sell it to try to get some more room in the shop and was surprised to see just how hard it is to sell off big iron and wonder if that will be a larger problem in the future? Perhaps that's why there is so much love for little systems like command sets and ARC-5 stuff being its small? Still I have always wanted something like a TDE or TCK but at this point would have to consider a second building just for radio stuff, the last couple year have gotten into vintage computers and they tend to eat up floor space also.
