[MRCA] Gilbert MRCA Transmitter Hunt on 3.885

       We are planning on conducting a transmitter hunt at the annual 
Gilbert MRCA meet on 16-17 September. Frequency of the small hidden 
transmitter is 3.885 kcs and the hunt will be started after dinner 
Friday. Two short 20-30 minute hunts will be provided. The  first hunt 
would be restricted to older vacuum tube equipment such as BC-611 or DAV 
etc. The 2nd hunt would be open to any kind of military equipment modern 
or otherwise.
        Modest "military" prizes will be awarded.Thursday and Friday 
afternoon  I will be glad to provide a practice session and  I do have a 
couple of antennas with BNC connectors that would work with "modern" 
equipment if you want to borrow one.

       A special note. You do not need special equipment to hunt just a 
receiver as KK1K can attest. A short video of what to expect when
