[MRCA] Special Event Operation Able Archer 83'- 14 Nov 2015 1400 hrs UTC to 15 Nov 2015 1600 hrs UTC

The "Amish contingent" of the MRCA is running the second annual Operation Able Archer Special Event 14 Nov 2015 1400 hrs UTC to 15 Nov 2015 1600 hrs UTC. We will begin setup on Friday at around 1300 Hrs EST and will be on the radio later in the day for signal tests. If you are in the area please stop in and visit, operate or stay over, everyone is welcome. We will also be checking in to the CCLRP net on Saturday . Again this will be operation using military radios in a remote wooded location to make contacts. We are going to try to use spotting this year but cell phone data coverage is limited in the area where we camp. Some of the radios scheduled to participate this year are the PRC-47, PRC-320, PRC-104, PRC-138, URC101, PRC-344, RT-524, PRC-77 and the PRC-70.
