Over the last month or so I have read
Several posts on the "Homelite" generator.

I use mine all the time and a few things need to be said

1- It does not "scream" and I do not think it's running anywhere near 4000
rpm.
     It's a quiet purr

2- It will allow full power SSB output from the PRC-47 without any drama

3- It does smoke some because of the old school mix ratio. But using MODERN 
     2 stroke oil you can thin down to 30/1   OK

4- If you can find one I think it is the best way to run a 47 in the field
