[MRCA] PRC47 genny?

Since this is only a 100W generator, the PRC-47 could only be used on low

Just looked at the data plate and see that it runs at four thousand RPM,
that thing screams when its running! With the size of the muffler would have
thought it would be quieter. What was the distance that it was intended to
be placed away from the radio in field operations? And how common was it to
use the generator instead of the battery pack?
