[MRCA] Modifying antenna connector for BC-342N anyone have a metal lathe?

I have a pretty good idea on how to make an adapter for this oddball
connector using a panel mount BNC... it would require a few minutes of
lathe work... does anyone have a small metal lathe that could give it a
shot... would make for a good article or youtube video on how to do it... I
will provide the parts!
