I just bought a Soviet US (Universal Superheterodyne) PR-4 receiver, built by the Lenin Radio Works of Gorky. Although this is a post WW2 radio being built in 1948 it appears to be just about the same design that they started producing in 1943. Anyone have any idea what the appropriate transmitter would have been paired with this radio? Somehow don't put this in the same class as the US-9 or other large receivers and ten to think it's more along the line of a command set. Looking forward to its arrival and getting the opportunity to play around with it.
