[MRCA] MRCA at the Military Transport Association of New Jersey Flea Market and Military Vehicle Show

This weekend is the Military Transport Association of New Jersey's annual Spring Swap Meet and Military Vehicle Show at the Sussex Fairgrounds in northern New Jersey.  The event is on Saturday and Sunday.  (See the link below for details.)  For the past few years a contingent of MRCA people attend to display our radio vehicles, set up portable stations, set up displays and spend plenty of time in the flea market.  Most vendors are set up in livestock type barns so weather is not a factor.

Charlie - KA1GON, Dean - KK1K and I will be driving our radio trucks down arriving Friday afternoon.  Follow our progress on the hour on 60 meters Chan 3.  We will also be monitoring that channel while we are at our vehicles on Saturday, and again on the way home late Saturday afternoon through late Saturday night.  We will also be checking HF Pack frequencies during our stay. We are meeting Al - N3FRQ there and expect other MRCA faithful to show up as well.  There is no formal MRCA program.  It's just an ideal venue to get together.  The flea market is comparable to the Red Ball Military Vehicle Rally in the fall and the Sussex Fairgrounds are spacious and beautiful.  Look for our vehicles at the south end of the large field used for military re-enactor set up and truck display.  If you bring a military vehicle you are welcome to park it in our assigned area.  If you arrive in a civilian vehicle there is plenty of parking nearby all the activity.
