Just a reminder for a unusual radio event that might involve
some of the military receivers in your inventory. The transmission from
Grimeton radio (Sweden) takes place on the "morning" (08:00 Z)(03:00
EST)of Christmas eve (December 24) on 17.2 Kcs. Yes that is correct 17
Kcs or just above the hearing range. :-) Amongst our group N3FRQ
and I have been successful in picking up the transmissions - - Al did
it first! Last years info is posted below and they have followed the
same format for several years. Those of us on the East Coast have a
unique opportunity to participate in a rare RF event. So fire up those
low freq receivers and give it a go.
