[MRCA] Antenna "protection?"

Nah, not that bad...  The Z looking into the end of a half wave wire  
is approx.  2500 ohms.  This works out to about 2800 volts peak at  
legal max.  Chose variable capacitors with sufficient plate-to-plate  
spacing and other tuner components with appropriate ratings of  
course.  Been running end-feds here for years at high power levels  
with no  problems.
